The Marvel 36D II was designed to be the go-to climbing wheelset for the amateur rider. The wheelset weighs just 1420 grams for the pair, making it a serious upgrade over alloy wheels. The U/V-shaped rim profile improves lateral airflow, increasing stability on fast descents and in windy conditions.

In addition to optimizing the rim design, the second generation of Marvel wheels comes with several upgrades, namely ETRTO-compliant reduced hooks to offer better aerodynamics, comfort, and traction, Alpina Ultralight Aero spokes, and lighter rims.
